The Conservancy is collaborating with local communities as well as federal, state and county agencies to coordinate and strengthen protection efforts in Hawai‘i and other Pacific islands. The Conservancy has spearheaded the formation of various public-private partnerships and remains actively involved in the following: 

• Coordinating Group on Alien Pest Species:  
  A partnership of state, federal and private organizations whose mission is to close the gaps in Hawaii’s pest prevention and response systems through greater coordination, planning and management.
• Invasive Species Committees of Hawai‘i:
  Island-based partnerships of government agencies, NGOs and private businesses working to protect each island from the most threatening invasive pests.
• Community-based Marine Conservation:
  Cooperative stewardship projects on O‘ahu, Hawai‘i Island and Maui to restore the health of marine resources through community planning, monitoring and removal of invasive fish and alien algae.
• Pacific Island Invasives Learning Network:  
  A peer learning partnership to share best practices and strengthen invasive species prevention and management across the Pacific.
