Become a Tour Guide!
Are you a college student in need of some community involvement or resume-boosting? Or are you searching for a post-retirement mission?
Consider becoming a volunteer tour guide to lead or co-lead tours at Heggie’s Rock and Broxton Rocks, two of our most iconic nature preserves. Tour guide training sessions will teach you everything you need to know about the ecology and history of these places as well as tips and tricks on how to lead any group.
- Tour Guide Training Session for Heggie’s Rock Preserve (near Augusta): March 24th @ 1-3PM
- Tour Guide Training Session for Broxton Rocks Preserve (near Vidalia): March 31st @ 1-3PM
Trained tour guides will have the chance to try out their skills during our 2012 Guided Public Tours and other special opportunities throughout the year.

Heggie’s Rock Preserve (Columbia County, near Augusta)
