Dogfish Dash Does Good in Delaware

The Nature Conservancy and the Dogfish Head Craft Brewery have been working together for 7 years to raise money for conservation in Delaware.

The Dogfish Dash 2012 raised more money than ever for The Nature Conservancy's projects in Delaware!

Under sunny skies, the 2012 Dogfish Dash proved to be a resounding success. Thanks to the generosity of the Dogfish Head Craft Brewery and The Nature Conservancy's staff, race sponsors, volunteers and 1,574 runners, the event raised $38,500 for the Conservancy's work in Delaware. This donation brings Dogfish Head's cumulative giving close to $150,000! The event also achieved close to a 95% recycling rate -- generating only 5% waste for an event that attracts close to 2,000 people!

"The Dogfish Head staff was absolutely fantastic to work with, as were the sponsors and 150+ volunteers who made the event possible. The Dogfish Dash has to be one of the most fun running races on the east coast (if not the country)." Richie Jones, State Director of The Nature Conservancy in Delaware.
