A Celebration of California, 2011
Special thanks to all who contributed photos to our Flickr page. Check out some of our favorites and find out what people love most about California.
They say a picture’s worth 1,000 words. When it comes to the incredible state of California, this saying could not be more true.
Whether you’re shooting a dramatic sunset over the mountains, snapping your kids hiking in our fog-shrouded redwoods or capturing that perfect bird shot on a sun-baked beach, your photos of California speak volumes.
So send us your best pictures of California and tell the world what you love about the Golden State. Every month we’ll feature a different theme that celebrates the natural wonders of California, so you’ll have lots of opportunities to show off what makes this state one of the most amazing places on Earth. The themes will be announced in the Great Places Network, our monthly electronic newsletter.
You can submit your photos to our Flickr page (see details below) and tag them with “California-TNC11”; and be sure to label each photo with where in California it was taken.
Don't forget to check back regularly as we'll be highlighting some of the best of your photos on our website...and the next one may be yours!
