  • Engage in real science-based learning
  • Make a difference in a student's life
  • Support schools and Arizona communities
  • Help students become informed decision-makers
  • Have the opportunity to hear student presentations

Fall 2011 - School Water Audits

Mentor students as they:

  • Apply technology for water savings
  • Measure flow rate at bathroom faucets
  • Analyze water use
  • Build skills they can pass on to parents
  • Communicate results to decision-makers

 Spring 2012 - River Research

Mentor students as they:

  • Conduct scientific investigations in natural river areas
  • Make connections between urban water use and natural systems
  • Communicate results to decision-makers

Volunteers must attend a 2 hour facilitator training.
