On April 7, the Conservancy celebrates the Hassayampa River Preserve’s 25th anniversary of being open to the public. The celebration, held in conjunction with the annual nature festival, includes activities for nature lovers of all ages.
Wildlife rehabilitation demonstrations let kids can get up close and personal with pocket gophers, birds, turtles and more. And, Wildman Phil makes an appearance with his reptiles and led an interactive program for children.
Guests will enjoy the recently revamped visitor center and interpretive garden in addition to nature tours and recycling and water conservation booths… and, of course, birthday cake!
