Sascha Müller-Kraenner joined The Nature Conservancy in 1997 and developed the organization’s first activities in Europe. He serves currently as Regional Managing Director for Europe. He is based in Berlin.
Müller-Kraenner studied Biology and Public Law at the Universities of Munich and Bayreuth. He was awarded fellowships by the German Marshall Fund of the United States, the Prince of Wales’ Business and the Environment Programme, and most recently as a World Fellow at Yale University. He has published widely on questions of international environmental diplomacy, energy security and European integration.
