The Nature Conservancy's Defend Paradise campaign empowers people everywhere to celebrate and protect paradise, whether they're enjoying a Caribbean vacation or just looking to experience more paradise in everyday life.
To do this, we need the support of individuals, governments and corporations—making commitments, big and small – to make real change happen.
Companies can sign on to support the campaign through contributions, co-branded product sales, exclusive discounts, in-store promotions and shopping experiences.
Individual supporters can help protect the Caribbean by making a purchase with one of our company partners in the retail, hotel, cruise, food and beverage and airline industries.
These promotions help raise awareness and funds for The Nature Conservancy and the Caribbean Biodiversity Fund, the most ambitious marine conservation goal in history. This $42 million regional endowment, funded by the German Development Bank, Global Environment Facility and the Conservancy, will be ready to disburse funds to National Conservation Trust Funds in early 2014.
Companies can show their commitment to the cause and get their fans involved through Defend Paradise co-branded products. A percentage of proceeds from the sale of these products will go to support the Conservancy and the Caribbean Biodiversity Fund.
By offering consumers special discounts and coupon packages across a range of products and services, Defend Paradise partners engage key supporters, encourage participation through discounted opportunities, and raise awareness and support for conservation, the Conservancy and the Caribbean Biodiversity Fund.
Becoming a partner in Defend Paradise means you can bring the warmth, fun, and natural surroundings of Paradise to fans and supporters all around the world. Just because they can’t visit the Caribbean doesn’t mean they shouldn’t have an opportunity to go there! Think in-store promotions and pop-up experiences. In stores, partners can customize co-branded signage, displays, beautiful photography, and even special or celebrity guests to help take visitors to Paradise. Likewise, partners can also customize experiences for tourists during their Caribbean vacations to deepen understanding of the local culture and promote environmental responsibility.
