In'Am Fathoni (The Nature Conservancy's Palu regional coordinator) atop a 70 meter lookout towner used by conservation organizations for climate change and forest canopy research at Lore Lindu National Park. The Nature Conservancy has been helping to preserve the rain forests of Lore Lindu National Park which is composed of a complex of rift valleys and steeply folded mountains stretching across 568,000 acres in central Sulawesi, Indonesia. The Conservancy has established a comprehensive program in the park, working with park management and local communities to preserve one of the largest intact forests in Indonesia. © Bridget Besaw
