I was a sophomore in college when 9-11 happened. I immediately decided to join the military.
I’m an infantry officer, and my first duty assignment was with 101st Airborne Division which is based out of Fort Campbell and deployed twice with them – once to Iraq and once to Afghanistan.
I’m active in the outdoors, and so really appreciate the value of what The Nature Conservancy does to protect our lands and waters. Whenever I can, I get outside to fish, trail run or camp. Being outside is really important to me.
I’m running with Team Nature in the Marine Corps Marathon on October 28 and am raising money for The Nature Conservancy so that they can continue to do the good work that allows me to experience nature.
