See all the ways Sprint is making the world and their business greener.

Sprint offers a comprehensive range of wireless and wireline communications services to consumers, businesses and government users.  Sprint, with the introduction of the Samsung phone the “Reclaim”, brings to market a new eco-friendly cell phone made of bioplastic(corn based)and 80% recyclable materials.  To promote the sale of the new phone and their move towards becoming a more environmentally conscious company, Sprint is giving $2 for each purchase of the Samsung Reclaim to the Conservancy's Adopt an Acre US program.  The promotion will launch on August 16, 2009 and run through December 31, 2009.  Sprint has committed $250,000 minimum with a goal of raising $500,000 for the program.

In addition to supporting The Nature Conservancy, Sprint is launching several new environmental initiatives towards achieving aggressive long term environmental goals:
    • Sprint is the first U.S. wireless carrier to establish a set of environmental design criteria for future     devices and accessories.
    • Sprint is implementing a series of new green retail initiatives including adding a dedicated green
area to retail stores to highlight new eco friendly products and accessories.
    • Sprint is committing to reduce paper usage by 30% over the next five years.
