• The Conservancy helps to broker the largest
  debt-for-nature swap in history in Costa Rica. The deal will secure the long-term, science-based conservation for Costa Rica’s tropical forests.
  
• China Establishes its First National Park in Yunnan Province. Pudacuo National Park will also serve as a model for a new Chinese national park system.
