Nature Conservancy Conservation Programs

EcoEnterprises Fund
A joint initiative of The Nature Conservancy and the Inter-American Development Bank, the EcoEnterprises Fund uses the tools and principles of venture capital to protect natural areas in Latin America and the Caribbean, uniting business and conservation.

Ecotourism Program
The mission of The Nature Conservancy's Ecotourism Program is to work with partners to better harness the potential of ecotourism as a tool for long-term biodiversity protection and local economic benefit.

Migratory Bird Program
Habit loss threatens the survival of birds worldwide. The Migratory Bird Program works to protect critical habitats for wide-ranging and migratory birds throughout the Western Hemisphere.

Parks in Peril
Since 1990, the Parks in Peril program has provided financial support and scientific expertise to protect and manage millions acres of national parks in sites across Latin American and the Caribbean by working with USAID and other partners. Subterranean Conservation
Cave science and conservation are relatively new concepts, but many places that the Conservancy owns or manages protect rare cave and groundwater animals.
