Brief Biography
As the Operations Administrator for The Nature Conservancy’s Global Marine Initiative, Lorraine provides administrative assistance to the Director, Lynne Hale, and other members of the team.  Her main focus is to assist with the Initiative’s overall efficiency, administrative organization, communications as well as event planning. She has extensive office management experience, having worked most of her career in a corporate setting.

Lorraine became acquainted with goals of The Nature Conservancy through her administrative volunteer work at the U.S. Fish & Wildlife National Refuge Complex in Rhode Island, where the partnership approach to conservation encouraged her to join the team. Lorraine joined the Conservancy in 2005 and is based at Global Marine Initiative’s office at the University of Rhode Island’s Narragansett Bay Campus.
