Information about training events

Nature Conservancy scientists, policy experts, communications and technical staff contribute, participate and attend numerous conferences every year. This is an important way to partake in the global dialogue around freshwater resources and conservation.

The Global Freshwater Team has provided a list of conferences and training opportunities that are worth consideration, many of which Conservancy staff are either hosting or taking part in.

 

 

Flow 2008
Presented by the Instream Flow Council, a U.S./Canadian nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the effectiveness of instream flow programs.
Conference information
October 7-9, 2008 - San Antonio, Texas
An interactive conference designed to help participans find inspiration, tools, personal contacts and references to address instream flow issues in local communities. Participation by parties representing all perspectives of water use issues is encouraged, including biologists, hydrologists, attorneys, civil engineers, educators, policy makers, and consultants.
