At a time when our natural world is under stress, freshwater ecosystems may be the most at risk.
 
There are many threats to the quality and quantity of fresh water, but human over-consumption and over-use are definitely at the top of the list.
 
We asked our Great Places Network members for tips on how they conserve fresh water on a daily basis. Check out what they had to say about the personal choices they make to help conserve fresh water. Then tell us your ideas for becoming an everyday environmentalist!
