In his role as Senior Advisor for Water Management, Andrew Warner provides technical advice and strategy assistance to project teams across the United States to improve flows below dams.  His position often requires working with government agencies, academic institutions, and non-governmental organizations and making presentations related to ecologically sustainable water management. 

Andy is also the Conservancy’s National Coordinator for the Sustainable Rivers Project, a national collaboration between The Nature Conservancy and the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers and leads the flood and floodplain sector of the Programs work. Andy has 17 years of experience in the environmental and conservation fields. 

His recent publications include A Collaborative Process for Developing Flow Recommendations to Restore River and Estuary Ecosystems (in press) and Adaptive Management of Freshwater Ecological Integrity (2002).  Andy received a M.S. in Watershed Science from Colorado State University (Fort Collins) and a B.S. in Water Resources from Ohio University (Athens)..
