Diedre Paterno Pai works to engage and increase involvement with both internal and external audiences for the Global Freshwater Team. She develops and promotes tools related to ecologically sustainable water management, such as the Indicators of Hydrologic Alteration software, and manages the different websites, publications, newsletters and other forms of communications related to the Global Freshwater Team. Diedre also helps the team produce effective training programs and build strategic partnerships.
A large part of Diedre’s position requires outreach to Conservancy staff and others building better informational resources for the Global Freshwater Team to use in its product development, marketing strategies, and training dissemination.
Diedre joined the Conservancy in early 2005 and has over six years experience in fundraising, communications, event planning, and product development and previously held positions as the National Partnership Coordinator for the New Voters Project (an effort to increase youth participation in the 2004 election), as a Major Gifts Officer for the University of Colorado Foundation, and in various other positions requiring excellent research skills, communications and marketing abilities.
Diedre has a Masters in public policy administration (M.P.A.) from the University of Colorado (Denver) and a B.A. in anthropology from the University of Illinois (Chicago).
