As the Program Coordinator for the Nature Conservancy’s Global Freshwater Team, Sharon Davis provides administrative and research assistance to the Director, Brian D. Richter, and other members of the team.  Her main focus is to assist with the program’s development and effectiveness, both within the Conservancy as well as the global conservation and water management communities. 

Sharon joined the Conservancy in 2001 as the Virginia State Office’s Operations Assistant and moving into the position of Operations Coordinator in 2003.  She began working with the Global Freshwater Team in May of 2005. Sharon’s education ranges from business school to occasional courses taken at the University of Virginia and local community college in areas of interest such as photography, passive solar home design, and stained glass.  She has 20 plus years of assistance and administration in the legal, academic research, private business and alternative energy fields.
