The Global Freshwater Team

Sarah Davidson
Program Coordinator
Marine & Freshwater Policy & Partnerships

Sarah works closely with the Senior Freshwater Policy Advisor on partnerships and policy issues in support of the Global Freshwater Team's international strategies. She helps to advance the team's Blue Water Certification program, in collaboration with partners, to promote responsible stewardship of water resources and to protect and enhance freshwater ecosystems. Sarah is working with other members of the Global Freshwater and Marine Teams, as well as colleagues from regional and field programs within the Conservancy, to develop a strategy to prevent or reverse the impact of land and freshwater-based threats to coastal rivers, estuaries and nearshore marine systems through a Summits to Seas approach.

Before joining the Conservancy in 2006, Sarah provided program management support to USAID-funded projects in Egypt and Colombia focused on environmental health and agriculture. Sarah received an MSc in Environment and Development from the London School of Economics and Political Science and a BA in Anthropology and Latin American Studies from Cornell University.
