Climate Change: What You Can Do - Make It Personal

Climate Change -- What's Your Impact?

We Want to Hear from You

Tell us what you think about our climate change work. What are you doing to lessen your impact on the climate?

Climate change has already begun to happen. But there is hope. We must all take action now to reduce or slow the worst consequences of climate change. Here's how you and your family can help:

  1. Use The Nature Conservancy's carbon calculator to measure your – or your household's – climate impact. The carbon calculator will estimate how many tons of carbon dioxide and other greenhouse gases your choices create each year.
  2. Learn some energy and climate-saving tips from a Nature Conservancy climate change scientist who not only talks the talk, but walks the walk. Reduce your personal energy consumption.
  3. Donate online now to support The Nature Conservancy’s work to confront climate change in your area and around the globe.
  4. Sign up for the Conservancy’s Great Places Network, a free online membership program, to learn more about what the Conservancy is doing in your state and around the world.
  5. Learn the facts about climate change.
  6. Test your climate change knowledge with our online quiz.
