Two Decades of Honoring Nature’s Guardians

The Legacy Club Celebrated 20 Years in 2013!

In 2013, The Legacy Club celebrated 20 years of recognizing inspirational commitments to the future of our natural world. We are happy to have commemorated this Conservancy milestone to all our supporters.

In 1993, The Legacy Club was created to recognize those who have chosen to translate their passion and caring for the natural world into a gift that provides a legacy for future generations. Since then, more than 20,000 individuals have chosen to make a legacy gift to support our conservation work in all 50 states and 34 countries around the world.

Legacy Club Manager Meg Thomson's writes why celebrating 20 years of Legacy Club members has been so meaningful to her. Read her blog post.

The Legacy Club has many faces—people of all means, from all walks of life who share a common vision and commitment. These special individuals have made the most lasting gift of all: they have remembered the Conservancy in their estate plans or established life-income gifts with us.

At The Nature Conservancy, our work is a reflection of the dedication of each of our supporters. The Nature Conservancy honors our Legacy Club members for their extraordinary gifts.  Learn about one of the special benefits of being a Legacy Club member, the opportunity to partake in exclusive trips with like-minded individuals to some of the precious places we are protecting.

Your generous commitments allow us to continue our vital conservation work to conserve the lands and waters on which all life depends.  Thank you to each of our Legacy Club members!
