Primary Conservation Objective
Maintain a functioning open landscape that conserves terrestrial and aquatic biological diversity and has relatively intact ecological processes to sustain systems and species for a long period of time.

Biodiversity Highlights
Preservation of this tract will help maintain critical open space that supports grassland conservation targets associated with the Central Shortgrass Prairie of North America. The property hosts conservation targets such as McCown's Longspur, Preble's meadow jumping mouse, Colorado butterfly plant and Ute Ladies Tressses. Mule deer and antelope are common occurences on the tract.

Easement terms prohibit subdivision of the property, introduction of non-native species, any commercial and industrial use, and construction of new buildings and structures except in the designated building envelope. Traditional ranching and agricultural activites are permitted.
