The property is or will be encumbered by a conservation easement as described below.

Description
The Pawnee Prairie property has approximaterly 50 acres of native prairie with the remainder in cool season grasses. The tract is rolling with a large pasture in the mid section and the native prairie on the west and east ends. There is a township gravel road along the north property line.

Primary Conservation Objective
This site is part of the Grand River Grasslands and will be protected by a conservation easement to ensure that adequate grass and native praire will provide habitat for prairie chickens and prevent soil erosion.

Biodiversity Highlights
The property has approximately 50 acres of native prairie.

Qualifications and Restrictions
The property will have a conservation easement recorded to limit the use of the property to grazing and haying operations.
