The Green River supports nearly 60 species of freshwater mussels, 109 fish species, and a number of rare, threatened or endangered plants and other animals. Permanent protection of this property is important to the water quality of the Green River.

Qualifications and Restrictions
Restrictions on the property will include no commercial or residential development, no new roads, no timbering and no activities that negatively affect water quality.
