largest migratory deer herd in California and a wide variety of bird species. It also features 4 1/2 miles of frontage on Gurnsey Creek which is the head-waters for Deer Creek, one of the most imporant wild salmon streams in California.
Qualifications and Restrictions No subdivision, mining, introduction of non-native species. One homesite permitted, limited grazing permitted. A 2-acre area along the highway that is zoned commercial may be developed with certain compatible uses.
