The cetaceans are whales, dolphins and porpoises. The word cetacean is derived from the greek word "ketos" meaning sea monster. Whales and especially dolphins are well known for their intelligence and for thier often complex social behaviors.

Also referred to as the Boto, this creature is the largest and most widely distributed river dolphin in the world.
