Take in the Trash
You know how to take it out, but what about taking in the trash?
Litter can wash into storm drains that lead to rivers and lakes, causing harm to aquatic wildlife and polluting freshwater. Get out for some fresh air and take a trash bag with you. Collect the litter you see in your neighborhood or park, and throw it in a proper receptacle. Or, just bring bags with you whenever you go out, and pick up litter where you see it.
You’ll leave the place cleaner than before you were there, and you’ll get a little exercise!
