B.Y.O.Bag
Less than 1 percent of plastic bags in the United States are recycled every year. So what happens to the rest? They end up in landfills – where they’ll never decompose – or, worse, in our rivers and oceans.
Each year approximately 100,000 sea turtles and other marine creatures are harmed or killed by plastic in our oceans. But you can do your part by banning the bag.
Invest in some reusable bags, keep them in the car, and you’ll have them handy for whenever you shop. Less plastic = less waste = a happier planet. It’s a simple step with massive results!
