Do you know which ones are in your yard or neighborhood? Grab your kids and explore the trees near you. Feel the bark and notice its characteristics. What shape are its leaves? Does it have a smell? What animals do you notice in its branches?
Bring a tree guide with you, and try to identify each one. Knowledge of what’s near will only add to the love and understanding of the world around us.
