Event: Groupers Spawning
Where: Ngeremkol Channel (Koror state)
When: July (full moon) or August (new moon)
Groupers spawn in aggregations of 2,000 to 3,000 during the lunar phases, taking about 10 days to complete.

Open to the public (one-hour boat ride from Koror).

Event: Coral Trout Spawning
Where: Ebil Channel (Ngerechlong state)
When: August (new moon)
Aggressive behavior displayed by males of the coral trout species, which maintain harems of six females. Actual spawning occurs around 5:00 or 6:00 a.m. during outgoing tide, which disperses eggs out to wider waters.
