Event: Fall hawk migration
Where: Berkshire Taconic Landscape
When: September
Each fall in Massachusetts, the sky is dotted with hundreds of hawks, from the commonly seen Broad-winged Hawk and American Kestrel to the more elusive Bald eagle and Peregrine Falcon. Berkshire high points--such as Bartholomew's Cobble in Sheffield--are ideal spots to watch these magnificent birds as they soar, glide, and plunge their way to their winter homes.
