With the native raspberry and other understory plants in bloom, Hawaii's resplendent honeycreepers can be seen at closer proximity in Waikamoi Preserve (Maui).

Open to the public through Conservancy and National Park Service led hikes.

Where: Various Conservancy Preserves
When: Year-round, third Saturday of every month
Conservancy staff and volunteers work to eliminate and prevent the spread of invasive and non-native plant species.

Open to the public.

Where: Kamakou Preserve
When: May through June
Beautiful red, orange and yellow pompom-like blossoms of Hawaii's native 'Ohi'a lehua trees dot the Kamakou Forest with color.

Open to the public via Conservancy led hikes monthly.
