Eduardo Avaroa National Park in the altiplano of southern Bolivia is home to three of the world's six species of flamingos from September to May each year. During this time, September being the best time to visit, a substantial migrating population of Chilean flamingos joins thousands of resident and migrating Andean and endangered resident James' flamingos for a spectable like no other in South America.
Open to the public. Eggs in January through March and chicks in March through April.
