Catch a glimpse of this brilliant yellow warbler, a neotropical migrant that breeds in swamps and lowland forests of the eastern U.S. The birds leave in late July for their wintering grounds in Central and South America.

When: Late March through early April
Females form maternity colonies in only a few caves throughout the Ozarks. They give birth to one offspring in late spring or early summer.

Closed to the public (access is restricted to protect the endangered bats).

The beautiful Diana fritillary butterfly can be seen pollinating many of the glade species during late June.
