• The American Institute of Philanthropy has awarded The Nature Conservancy an "A-" rating.
• The Nature Conservancy's strong performance is recognized by Charity Navigator as exceeding or meeting industry standards.
• The Nature Conservancy rates as the most trusted organization in a recent poll by Harris Interactive^®, as reported by The Chronicle of Philanthropy.
• Forbes magazine rated The Nature Conservancy's fundraising efficiency at 88% in its annual survey of the largest U.S. charities.

Governance Advisory Panel

The Nature Conservancy enlisted a panel of independent, outside experts to make recommendations to the Board of Directors regarding standards of best practices for governance in an innovative and highly decentralized global nonprofit organization.

Since the Governance Advisory Panel released its final report in March 2004, the Conservancy has implemented virtually all of the recommendations contained in the report.
