Toyota USA Foundation

The Toyota USA Foundation is the lead supporter of LEAF in 2011. The Toyota USA Foundation is a $100 million charitable endowment created to support education programs serving kindergarten through 12th grade students and their teachers in the United States with an emphasis on mathematics, science and environmental science.

  • National Grid contributes to deserving programs in areas that include energy, education and the environment. National Grid supports environmental projects that focus on reducing the causes and impact of climate change, promoting the local environment around the operation’s sites, the delivery of energy efficiency, and alleviating fuel poverty.
     
  • The Brooklyn Community Foundation supports innovative, creative, and efficient nonprofit organizations that clearly articulate missions and goals and that can prove successful at meeting the needs of Brooklyn families, individuals and neighborhoods.
     
  • The Pinkerton Foundation supports efforts to strengthen and expand community-based programs for underserved children, youth and families in New York City.
     
  • The Rhodebeck Charitable Trust focuses their support on alleviating the plight of disadvantaged people in the New York metropolitan area, including the homeless, hungry, elderly and children by making grants to publicly supported tax-exempt organizations concerned with one or more of these objectives.
     
  • The TogetherGreen Innovation Grants Program supports creative and ambitious projects that engage diverse communities and find innovative solutions to environmental challenges.
     
  • ConEdison of New York supports organizations that preserve and protect the environment through conservation and beautification projects as well as through educational and career-development programs.
     
  • Disney Friends for Change helps kids help the planet by inspiring us all to work together to make small daily changes that add up to a big difference, and giving us a way to help make big change by voting on how Disney distributes another $1 million in donations to environmental projects around the world this year.
