Description

The 162 acre Wilson Savanna is a unique wooded recreational property in the heart of farm country with views of the Big Sioux River. It's deep draws and waterway attracts an abundance of wildlife including game species such as white tailed deer and wild turkeys all within easy driving distance of Sioux Falls, South Dakota and Sioux City, Iowa.

Easements and Restrictions

The property will be encumbered with a United States Fish and Wildlife Service Grassland Easement at the time of closing. The easement restrictions are: 1) no building, 2) haying, mowing and seed collection are not allowed until after July 15th and 3) no agricultural crop production is allowed. Grazing is allowed. In addition to the easement 26.72 acres will be subject to an agricultural lease during the 2011 growing season. To comply with the Grassland easement the agricultural field will be restored to grass after the 2011 growing season. The seller will cooperate with TNC and USFWS who will complete the restoration.
