The property is located in the Clymer Meadow Conservation Area, an important focus area for the Texas Chapter of The Nature Conservancy. The conservation area contains the largest protected remnant of native Blackland Prairie, a diverse and colorful landscape which is unique to Texas; only two percent of this landscape remains.
This tract is part of the largest protected remnant of Texas Blackland Prairie, a globally imperiled landscape. A diverse, colorful variety of wildflowers is typical of the Blackland Prairies, of which only two percent remains. The Conservancy will provide technical assistance for buyers in restoring native prairie.
Buyer will purchase the property encumbered with a conservation easement allowing no subdivision and construction in a one-acre homesite.
