TRAINING AND PROFESSIONAL DEVELOPMENT OPPORTUNITIES
At The Nature Conservancy, we believe that learning is smart conservation. When employees expand their knowledge and develop new professional skills, they help the Conservancy adapt to change and meet the challenges ahead. This is why we offer new employee on-boarding sessions as well as a variety of classroom and online training focused on professional, functional management and leadership development.
All of our employees have access to a Learning Management System that allows them to take online, self-paced courses 24 hours a day, seven days a week via such avenues as E-Cornell, Lynda and Harvard. We also offer a Leadership Development Program which prepares our leaders to succeed in their roles. This program consists of four tiers, each providing a multidisciplinary curriculum that targets the specific development needs of leaders based on their levels of responsibility and accountability.
