Brief Biography

Barbara French is the Community Engagement Manager for the Washington program. Her role includes developing strategies to increase community engagement and awareness across the state. As well as leading the LEAF program in Washington in partnership with The Science and Math Institute in Tacoma, she is responsible for outreach, urban volunteerism, corporate volunteer engagement, and managing community events aimed at broadening support for conservation. She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Botany from the University of Washington and has been with The Nature Conservancy for seven years.
